Dreamhaven and its affiliates (referred to as “Dreamhaven”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) are about providing a safe haven for dreams and those who create them.  We welcome you to apply to become part of our team.

As part of the candidate application and recruitment process, we may collect certain information about you.  This Candidate Privacy Notice explains what information we collect during the recruitment process, how we use that information, and with whom we share it. 

What information do we collect?

The types of information we collect are:

  • Contact information including your name, email address, and telephone number
  • Job experience including you resume, CV, samples of your work, or other details about your past    employment, education, training, and background.
  • References
  • Information like your age (e.g. to verify that you are over 18 years old), gender, ethnic or racial origin, and medical and health information for statistical purposes and to help support our diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Information we collect using “cookies” and similar tracking tools.  See below for more details.

How do we use your personal information?

We use your personal information to provide in connection with our recruitment efforts, including:

  • To process your job application
  • To contact you about your application and future job opportunities
  • To verify the information you have provided
  • To manage your relationship with us
  • To improve our recruitment process
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

How do we collect your information?

We collect information that you provide us directly including through the submission of a job application.  We may also obtain information from third parties such as your references or Facebook and LinkedIn.  Lastly, we may also gather certain information automatically using tracking technologies like cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts.

Cookies and Similar Technologies 

Dreamhaven may use cookies and similar technologies such as Javascript, Web beacons, and GIFs to better understand the usage of our site and to enhance your experience.

Cookies are small text files which are placed in your computer's browser. Cookies collect information in an anonymous form and do not reveal your personally identifiable information.

Dreamhaven may also use third party analytic technologies such as Google Analytics which place and read their own cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information through our websites, including to help us with traffic measurement, research, and analytics.

Can I turn off cookies?

You can change your preferences and refuse to allow certain types of cookies to be stored on your computer while browsing our websites. You can also remove any cookies already stored on your computer, but keep in mind that deleting cookies may prevent you from using certain parts of our websites. 

Please note that we are not able to respond to Do Not Track signals from your browser at this time.

Do we share your information?

We may use third parties to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes described in this privacy policy including but not limited to storing job applications, verifying the information you have provided us, conducting reference and background checks, and tracking job applicants.  When such third parties collect or receive personal information, we require them to only use the data for the performance of the applicable services and for purposes consistent with this policy.

With your consent, we may also provide your information to third parties to facilitate your employment with Dreamhaven including but not limited to for travel, relocation, and immigration purposes.  

We may share information with third parties in an aggregated or otherwise anonymized form that does not reasonably identify you as an individual. 

In the event Dreamhaven is involved in a merger, acquisition, transfer of control, bankruptcy, reorganization or sale of assets, we may transfer all information we collect to the applicable third party.

Lastly, we reserve the right to disclose your information if we are required to do so by law.

How secure is your information?

Dreamhaven is committed to protecting your personal information.  We store your personal information in the United States on our secure servers.  We have adopted reasonable technical and organizational procedures to help protect your personal information.  However, please be aware that no security measure is 100% perfect.

What choices and controls do you have regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information?

We give you choices when it comes to the use and collection of your information.  You can access or delete the personal information we have associated with you by contacting us at privacy@dreamhaven.com.  Note that some personal data may be retained as permitted by law (e.g. to comply with legal obligations, to prevent fraud, etc.)   

How will you know when we update this Policy?

We may revise this Candidate Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our processes, the law, or our websites.  When we do so, we will notify you by changing the date at the top of this policy.  If we have your email address, we will also notify you by email before we make any material changes to this Candidate Privacy Policy to give you the opportunity to review the revised policy and opt out of our services if applicable.

Non-material changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Please periodically review this Privacy Policy so that you are up to date on our most current privacy policies and practices.
